Vision

Penn State AMA looks to provide members with tangible marketing experiences and turn business students into business leaders.

Mission

PSAMA’s mission is to bridge the gap between the Smeal College of Business and the working world. Through personal and professional development, networking and leadership, PSAMA offers its members the vital prerequisites needed for any undergraduate to make a comfortable transition to the workforce.

Strategy

The strategy of PSAMA is to provide its student members with real-world business experience; not just limited to the fundamentals of marketing, but also exploring all professional and rudimentary skills of business. We provide members with application-based opportunities and educational opportunities. Application-based opportunities include case competitions and projects while educational opportunities include information sessions and workshops as well as our Regional Conference and Marketing Week. These opportunities must hit at least 6/10 of the NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) attributes in order to be scheduled. We aim for our students to become masters of the NACE attributes which makes them well-rounded and ready to hit the ground running in the working world. This bridges the gap between Smeal and their future company.
